The CHICANOS IN VIETNAM ORAL HISTORY PROJECT wants to digitally record your life story and preserve it for future generations.

Beginning in summer 2011, we are hoping to digitally record and preserve the life stories of 100 Southern California Chicanos and Latinos who served in the Vietnam War.  All of the oral histories we conduct will become part of the Veterans Oral History Project at the Library of Congress.

Coordinated by Tomás Summers Sandoval, a professor of History and Chicano Studies at Pomona College (Claremont, CA), we are now conducting oral histories with Chicanos and Latinos in the greater Los Angeles region.  If you or someone you know is interested in sharing their life story, please contact Tomás at [email protected] or 909-607-2916.
